Founded by Blessed Michael McGivney in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is the premier lay
Catholic men’s organization. Guided by the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, we build
lifelong relationships with our members and families. We are multigenerational and
international. We offer formation, mutual aid and financial security to members through our
charity, products and outreach. We aspire to invite every Catholic man to join the Knights of
Columbus and to extend our charitable reach as widely as possible.
The Knights of Columbus empowers Catholic men to live their faith and serve their family,
parish, community and country.
The San Ysidro Council of the Knights of Columbus serves the Parish of San Ysidro in
Corrales and the surrounding communities through its Faith in Action program activities. The
Council supports Parish spiritual and material endeavors; collects food and clothing for
vulnerable people; supports Catholic education; promotes the sanctity of life; and supports
community health, cultural, and educational endeavors.
The Council raises funds for the Parish and charitable organizations through monthly bingo
events at the San Ysidro Parish Hall on the third Saturday of each month except the months
of December and January. Doors open at 5 PM and games are played from 6 PM to 9 PM.
